Delicious Italian Garlic Clams Recipe

Italian garlic clams

Ingredients:

  • 24 live royal clams
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley (Parsley)

cooking method:

  1. Clean your clams and remove any dirt or sand.
  2. In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat and add garlic; sauté 1 minute. Pour in the white wine and cook until the wine is reduced to half its original volume.
  3. Add the imperial clams to the pot, cover and steam until the imperial clams begin to open.
  4. Add butter and cover until most or all of the clams open.
  5. Transfer the clams and sauce to 2 large bowls, sprinkle with cilantro, and serve with crusty Italian bread or pasta.
