Chinese stir-fried clams with ginger and chilli
Ingredients:
- 1kg royal clam
- 1 onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup Chinese rice wine
- 5 slices of ginger
- 2 peppers
- 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 onion
- 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
Cooking method:
- Soak the clams in salt water for half an hour to remove excess grit.
- Over medium heat, sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.
- Add Chinese rice wine, ginger, chili, clams and sesame oil. Cover and wait until the clams begin to open (about 1 minute).
- Add green onions and serve immediately.
